The P4 Tempbox is an indispensable tool for accurately capturing and recording engine and exhaust gas temperatures to optimise the performance of combustion engines. It allows engines to be fine-tuned by accurately monitoring the optimum temperature range and is particularly useful for tuning two-stroke engines where combustion efficiency is directly dependent on exhaust gas temperature.

To ensure high accuracy and a fast response to temperature changes, the Tempbox is supplied with a 1 mm thin measuring probe. This probe is inserted into a socket that has previously been welded into the exhaust. The thinness of the probe allows for almost instantaneous adaptation to temperature changes and is therefore particularly suitable for precise measurements. However, care must be taken, as placing the probe too deep in the exhaust can result in damage or destruction due to extreme heat.
