The P4 Redbox v4 OBD is our latest development. It not only combines Redbox, Lambdatool and CANBox in one, but also records all data supplied by the CAN bus. All you have to do is connect the motorbike to the OBD port with an OBD cable.
The P4 Redbox is the centrepiece of our test bench electronics. No power measurement is possible without it.
- OBD connection for determining and analysing all data from the motorbike's CAN bus: speed, throttle position, throttle valve position, lambda, AFR, oil temperature, coolant temperature, mapping, ignition, airbox pressure, etc.
- Creation of grid measurement: Lambda/AFR via speed and throttle position
- Determination of the engine speed from the OBD port and use in the Mission Control app
- Electronic data box for measurement data acquisition
- Robust aluminium/steel housing to protect the power boards from damage and EMC radiation
- Calibrated sensors for recording air pressure, humidity and ambient temperature
- USB connection for PC/black box
- Standard input for roller speed sensor
- Standard input via optical fibre for recording the engine speed via Lightbox or CANBox
- Additional inputs can be retrofitted
- Extension for eddy current brake control possible

The Redbox v4 OBD can be selected when ordering a new test bench, but can of course also be retrofitted to existing test benches.
